Live Chat not working for me

Is there something that I need to do to get live chat to work? It works on my other computer at home but I have never gotten it to work on my laptop. I'm using Firefox on both.

Gabbly is often buggy..

Lack is hoping to fix this in the next update...

I've got to start school again... then I'll be doing more homework.

Anyway, any ideas on how to fix the chat?
