Other: Using racist slur in a game chat. I've had some fractions with the player after he called me an idiot. I responded to this with the f and the b words. In turn he mocked me with some kind of a made up words which directly refers to my race and to my country. I find it hurtful, unethical and uncalled for

I'm not referring to rapscallion & nincompoop or whatever. I'm fine with all that, it's part of the game and those are common and I don't really care, but he called me Malangster. From where I am (Malaysia), that is a reference to a specific Malay gangster race. They are lowlife scums who prey on people for living. That is racist remarks. He must have known that local dialects from somewhere. It's like I call u bloody Tamil Hindu Pariah if you are an Indian. You guys westerners are fine with all that? No it's not. no such thing. However, Malay is a local ethnic race in Malaysia, apart from Chinese and Indian who forms the majority of the makeups. But there's a local slang that you wouldn't even find it even if you Google for the meaning. Malangster connotes a specific group of the underprivileged who are usually drug addicts, petty thieves, muggers who don't really have any meaningful objectives in life. That's racist if you ask me. Dunno about u guys...

I agree with you Matrixxx, you have been offended and this is not right behavior and we should punish the guy who did this because of the mallasia and whatnot and everything is bad and he used b and f word and he is not appropriate this is a family sit and i have children and you are not a malasianite or what he said you are good man and nice and we will all do whatever you say...

I agree with Bogan here, it's fine to call someone a lowlife drug addict, this is just the Malaysian synonym for it based on everything matrix has said.
This would be less spurious if matrix accused him of secret diplomacy for talking in a language other than English.
I am foeing them both. Mannimal was not being racist but he did whine for being attacked and using the word coward made no sense whatsoever. I do give him points for being the smarter one. Matrix overreacted and is way too touchy and weird. Thank you for bringing this to my attention so I could be judgmental.

First, I'd just like to say I love CC and I'm pretty much addicted to it. Thanks to the creators. My wife hates you folks though, sorry.
Second, I'm not a racist. Never have been, never will be. I hate everyone.
Third, I was just creatively trash talking another player without using profanity and thought that "Malangster" (cross between Malaysian and gangster) would be a funny/creative razz to mess with Matrix based on his "potty mouth". Though I've never been there, I'm sure Malaysia is a great place filled with wonderful people. My intent was not to insult Malaysians. My intent was to insult Matrix.
Finally, CC chat is fun. I have been trash talked to, and trash talked to others. If you dish it out, you've got to be able to take it. I'm happy to do both. But crying racist when someone razzes you and then tattling is just sad. To those of you who saw though this nonsense, thank you. I would hate to be barred from this game I love so much.
I look forward to trying to beat all of you with the best I've got, and I would only hope you all try to do the same to me. Thats why I love the game.
What I would like to say to a few peeps in this pathetic thread would be considered flames but I will settle for upgrading my foe list and leave it at that.
I suggest you all do the same...
